PATHWAYS TO CHANGE: EMPOWERING COMMUNITIES, CLIENTS & CLINICIANS
For marginalized communities, the pathways to wellness are often long and complicated. Additional barriers such as a polarized political climate, social unrest, and ongoing human rights challenges can disproportionately impact vulnerable individuals and groups. Uncertainty about future policies, economic conditions, and social dynamics can create feelings of powerlessness, vulnerability, hopelessness, and fear—all of which can worsen mental health outcomes.
Yet, community members do not have to walk this path alone. Service providers, clinicians, advocates, educators, policymakers, and law enforcement each play a critical role in ensuring that no one is left behind and that everyone has a fair chance to thrive.
Mental Health Association Oklahoma is proud to present the 31st Annual Zarrow Mental Health Symposium—PATHWAYS TO CHANGE: Empowering Communities, Clients & Clinicians, October 8-10, 2025.
MHAOK will also be hosting a special in-person community discussion prior to the virtual conference! Join us for Pathways to Change: Community Conversations on September 26th at Gradient in downtown Tulsa.
